How well or poorly did we meet the following objectives? A. Increase knowledge and awareness of advances across six core areas in the field of infectious diseases in the immunocompromised host: C. difficile, CMV, fungal disease, immunotherapy, respiratory virus disease, and antimicrobial stewardship. B. Improve understanding of three controversial and clinically-relevant topics, as discussed in two interactive panel discussions and a pro/con debate: detection of C. difficile, optimal management of CMV, and optimal management of fungal diseases. C. Enhance engagement and foster discussion between thought leaders in the field, early-career scientists, and trainees.
