Objective 1: To educate local mental health professionals and the interested community about current drug culture for teens and young adults, trends in substance use/abuse, and what the changes in marijuana laws mean for the community. Participants will also identify ways to actively create positive change in clients/kids by building up their internal/intrinsic motivation (strengths development, pinpointing skills and interests, etc.)- increasing their resiliency and giving them tools work with to move beyond low self-esteem and poor motivation.
