Define the “thought processes and behavioral patterns ” that frame the antisocial behavioral patterns of “Offenders or Inmates” in our correctional institutions.
Participants will Learn 3 Licensing Safeguarding Strategies: Social Workers gain Practical strategies to safeguard their licenses, learning from real-life experiences shared in the presentation, enhancing their ability to navigate licensing challenges effectively.
Participants will Understand and identify 3 Fraud Detection and Prevention Skills: Equipping social workers with practical skills for fraud detection and prevention enhances their capacity to contribute to the integrity of their organizations, fostering a proactive approach to ethical practices.
Equip attendees with tools and practices to create environments where all individuals feel genuinely welcomed, valued, and respected using 5 cultural building steps.
Participants will gain insights into recognizing and overcoming biases that hinder inclusivity, enabling them to identify and address unconscious biases within their teams and practices.
Participants will advance in culturally informed organizational and practice theories by utilizing culturally responsive practices, aiding in the creation of positive employee and client relationships that respect and celebrate diverse backgrounds.
Participant will gain an understanding of the diagnosis, prognosis, and treatment of Anxiety and Depression in the elderly.
Participant will gain an understanding of non-pharmaceutical approaches and current strategies for symptom management.
Learn what are the signs that should lead to reporting child abuse & neglect.
Identify who is a "mandated" reporter, their responsibilities, identify the process for making reports and the information to be included
Define immunity, what happens after report is made and penalties to the "mandated" reporter not reporting
